CG STA Monterey: Waterfront Redesign

Abstract

This capstone project focuses on designing repairs for existing waterfront infrastructure to sustain current operations at CG STA Monterey and developing alternatives to homeport up to two new Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutter vessels within the existing unit footprint. Proposed improvements address both waterfront and shoreside support infrastructure, ensuring compatibility with mission requirements and spatial constraints. The project also evaluates environmental considerations within the proposed scope, including potential impacts associated with the condemned section of the wharf, to support regulatory compliance and long-term operational resilience.
