CG STA Seattle: Shoreside Facilities Consolidation

Abstract

This capstone project focuses on developing design alternatives to consolidate facilities for CG STA Seattle within the existing footprint of CG Base Seattle. Current station functions are dispersed across temporary facilities pending major construction associated with PSC homeporting, creating operational inefficiencies that affect response capability. The project evaluates consolidation options that would collocate administrative, operational, and support functions closer to the station�s dock, with the goal of improving response times, enhancing mission effectiveness, and increasing long-term infrastructure efficiency within the Base.
